Collie Senior High School - ANZAC Prize 2024

An initiative by the Collie Cardiff RSL - the presentation of the ANZAC Award commenced at the school end of year awards in 2015.  This is the tenth year we have made this award, initially $250, we have now increased it to $300.

While the school awards panel decides the winner, the RSL set the parameters to be used in the decision process. We specifically asked that academic or sporting achievements were not to be the basis of selection as we considered there were many awards each year for those categories.

The qualities we are seeking are aligned more along the Spirit of ANZAC, such as mateship, fairness, honesty, integrity, acceptance and adherence to the school’s rules.

Thomas Whitney was the recipient of this year's Anzac Award.
